The Idaho Falls Lacrosse Lightning co-ed team is a local league, playing home and away games in Ammon, Pocatello, Driggs, and Jackson. Students who attend school in District 91 or in area schools such as Rexburg, Ririe, Rigby, Shelley, Firth, and Blackfoot are eligible to play. Kids attending D93 schools are encouraged to play with their lacrosse league.
Practices are typically two times per week, with games on a weekday evening. Practices are held at Taylorview Junior High.
The season typically starts about April 1 and concludes mid-May.
The Club provides a lacrosse uniform jersey. Athlete must provide equipment required by US Lacrosse, including stick, helmet, chest pad, elbow pads, and gloves. Helmet and chest pads are available for rent ($25 per season). For hygiene reasons, we do not rent elbow pads and gloves.
