Lightning Policy

5.10 Lightning Policy 5.10.1:

When thunder is heard, or a cloud-to-ground lightning bolt is seen, the thunderstorm is close enough to strike your locations with lightning. Suspend play and instruct the teams to seek shelter off the field. Warn the spectators as well. Wait a minimum of thirty minutes from the time of the last thunder/lightening. After consulting with the officials and coaches, you can resume the contest. 5.10.2 This policy applies to practices as well as games.
