How does our family register?

The easiest way to register is through our online system. Click here to Register Online.
 

Typically when and where do we practice? 

K- 2nd grade:  Practice 2 times during the week at Taylorview Junior High, with games on weekday evenings locally, and in Pocatello, Driggs, and Jackson.

3rd-4th grade:  Practice 3 times during the week at Taylorview Junior High, with games on weekday evenings locally, and in Pocatello, Driggs, and Jackson.

5th-6th grade:  Practice 3 times during the week at Taylorview Junior High.  Games on Saturdays in Salt Lake City area, plus weekday evenings locally, and in Pocatello, Driggs, and Jackson.

7th/8th grade boys:  Practice 3 times during the week at Taylorview Junior High.  Games on Saturdays in Salt Lake City area, plus weekday evenings locally, and in Pocatello, Driggs, and Jackson.

High school girls:  Practice 4 times during the week at Eagle Rock Junior High, with games on Saturdays throughout the state. 

High school boys:  Practice 4 times during the week at Eagle Rock Junior High, with games on Saturdays throughout the state.

What is the uniform?

Uniform consists of a game day reversible jersey and shorts (co-ed, boys high school and junior high girls) or skorts (high school girls).  These are included in the registration fee, but must be returned at the end of the season.  Refundable security deposit will be collected before the uniform is distributed, and will remain uncashed unless the uniform is not returned.  

 

What equipment does my child need?

The Club provides the helmet, which is the athlete's most important and expensive safety equipment.  

For all male athletes and for girls playing on co-ed teams:  must provide their own stick, shoulder/chest pad, elbow pads, gloves, cleats, mouthguard, and cup (boys and co-ed teams).   

For girls playing on all-girls teams:   Athlete must provide her own stick, mouthguard and protective goggles. 
 

Where can I find Lacrosse Equipment?

Locally, you may find used equipment at Play It Again Sports, or new items at Al's Sporting Goods, Big 5, or Dick's Sporting Goods.

You will find more options using online retailers like Lacrosse Unlimited and Lacrosse Monkey.


What does my registration fee go towards?

The fee covers referees and officials, uniforms, personal and team equipment (goalie equipment, goals, nets, cones, balls etc.), medical kits, field maintenance, insurance for all players and coaches, membership to U.S. Lacrosse, and operational expenses such as website, equipment storage rental.

What is U.S. Lacrosse?

The national governing body of men's and women's lacrosse. All players must become members of U.S. Lacrosse before registering with Idaho Falls Lacrosse Club. Their website is http://www.uslacrosse.org.


What's the best way to keep up to date?

Once registered, you will receive frequent email communications from the Club.  We also post information on the Idaho Falls Lacrosse facebook page.

Your athlete’s coach is the best source of specific team information.  Typically, coaches set up a texting group for parents and athletes.
